# BizzyBox > BizzyBox is a free web app that helps kids run a first business selling handmade greeting cards with a parent. For parents who want to help their child turn a goal into a small greeting card business. Parents sign up with email. Free for the first 500 families and free for good. No credit card. No paid plan or upsell. Nine short lessons take about five minutes each. Kids interview three adults before selling. The app includes a printable 4x6 card bank after signup. It also includes orders and birthday reminders plus a kid store link and QR flyer. Kids split money across four boxes: Spend and Save, plus Invest and Give. A parent owns the account and approves every product and store words. Photos show no faces. BizzyBox never lists stores publicly. Families share access with a link or QR flyer. A shared link can travel beyond its intended recipients. No chat. Buyers pay the parent's Venmo. BizzyBox never touches the money. A grown-up check guards the parent page. BizzyBox never sells data. Camillo is the BizzyBox founder and a dad in Greenfield MA. He has an MBA in operations and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. ## Core Facts When kids ask "Can I get this?" yes makes you the ATM and no makes you the bad guy. The third answer is: "Go earn it. I'll show you how." Camillo's daughter circled $64 of books on a school book order form due in ten days. Camillo was earning his MBA and became her consultant. She sold greeting cards and beat $64. He recorded the steps in a workbook that became the app. BizzyBox draws on The Lean Startup by Eric Ries and Jobs to Be Done by Clayton Christensen. Customer discovery comes before selling. The nine lessons: 1. Set a goal. 2. The job your product does. 3. Why people buy cards: interview three adults. 4. When people buy. 5. Who's next. 6. Call them: open with the customer's problem. A no is information. 7. Taking orders: offer an extra. 8. Build and deliver: plan backward from the due date. 9. Managing your money. Four card pains and fixes: - Forget the birthday: the child remembers it. - Never get to the store: the child brings the card. - Store card looks generic: the child makes a handmade card for one person. - Grab any card last minute: the child asks two weeks early. Sample order: Grandma scans the fridge flyer. She buys a $5 birthday card and adds a $6 dolphin bracelet. The $11 sale teaches an upsell. Buyers pay the parent's Venmo. Supplies: printer and plain paper. Crayons or markers. Scissors and glue stick. Folded kraft cards with envelopes. Print the 4x6 artwork on plain paper and glue it onto the folded kraft card. ## Guides - [BizzyBox: Free Entrepreneurship App for Kids](https://bizzybox.zite.so/guides/): Start with the lessons and parent controls behind a first greeting card business. - [Alternatives to Allowance: Try a First Kid Business](https://bizzybox.zite.so/guides/alternatives-to-allowance-for-kids/): Compare family money arrangements and try a customer-funded project for a chosen goal. - [Customer Interview and Sales Scripts for Kid Businesses](https://bizzybox.zite.so/guides/kid-entrepreneur-interview-questions-script/): Practice the words for learning from customers and confirming a card order without pressure. - [Free 4x6 Printable Greeting Cards for Kids to Color](https://bizzybox.zite.so/guides/printable-greeting-cards-for-kids-to-color/): Use the plain-paper printing and kraft-card assembly method with your child. - [Free Elementary Homeschool Entrepreneurship Curriculum](https://bizzybox.zite.so/guides/homeschool-entrepreneurship-curriculum-elementary/): Plan a hands-on business unit around the nine lessons and a real card order. - [How Kids Can Earn Money at Home with Parent Help](https://bizzybox.zite.so/guides/how-can-an-8-year-old-make-money-at-home/): Plan a parent-supervised card project with known buyers and an optional extra. - [How to Set Up a Safe Private Online Store for Your Kid](https://bizzybox.zite.so/guides/safe-online-store-for-kids/): Review the parent controls and make a clear plan for sharing the kid store. - [How to Start a Handmade Greeting Card Business for Kids](https://bizzybox.zite.so/guides/handmade-greeting-card-business-for-kids/): Go from customer questions to a priced card order and a plan for delivery. - [Lean Startup for Kids: Customer Discovery in 9 Lessons](https://bizzybox.zite.so/guides/lean-startup-for-kids-customer-discovery/): Teach your child to find a customer's problem before making a product to sell. - [Lemonade Stand Alternatives for Kids on Quiet Streets](https://bizzybox.zite.so/guides/lemonade-stand-alternatives/): Compare distinct business ideas for known buyers and start a parent-supervised card project. - [Spend Save Invest Give: The 4 Money Boxes for Kids](https://bizzybox.zite.so/guides/spend-save-invest-give-boxes-for-kids/): Review a card sale and use the four box names to discuss what the money is for. - [What to Say When Your Kid Wants to Buy Everything](https://bizzybox.zite.so/guides/my-kid-wants-everything-third-answer/): Turn a purchase request into a parent-supported earning goal with a script you can use today. ## Optional - [Start free](https://bizzybox.zite.so/): Parent email signup for BizzyBox. - [Full guide text](https://bizzybox.zite.so/llms-full.txt): Plain text of the hub and all guides.
